Matthew Jervis set up E G Grounds Care Ltd with the help of a grant from the Princes Trust in 2006. Initially he set up the business as a sole trader providing regular garden services to residential clients. The company soon needed to expand and recruited new grounds maintenance operatives, and along with the successful award of a business management contract in 2009, the company began to expand into commercial properties. The contract awarded to us in 2009 was for a large corporate business management company, and EG Grounds Care continue to provide  the grounds maintenance services and landscaping to this company today. E G Grounds Care are a team of eight highly motivated and enthusiastic employees, each who bring varying skills and qualifications to compliment the company's values and objectives.

 

Through networking, successful development and continually offering a professional, reliable grounds maintenance and landscaping service, E G Grounds Care Ltd continues to ensure the quality of our service is continually executed to a very high standard. Quality monitoring is imperative to ensuring clients are satisfied. Matthew enjoys providing the ‘hands-on’ skills regularly, as well as providing all the behind the scenes paperwork and staff management that is necessary to run the business.
